I spent 20 years on the other side of the table.
For over 20 years, I've worked in senior HR, helping organisations navigate some of the most difficult workplace situations. But the biggest lesson I learned wasn't about policies or employment law. It was about people.
I saw talented, hardworking professionals lose confidence simply because they didn't understand what was happening to them, or felt they had nobody independent to turn to. Too often, people accepted outcomes they didn't believe were fair because they felt overwhelmed, isolated, or pressured into making quick decisions.
That's why I created The Fair Way. I wanted to provide the kind of independent, confidential support I wish more people had access to. Someone who explains what's happening, helps you understand your options, prepares you for difficult conversations, and stands alongside you while you make the decisions that are right for you.
My role isn't to tell you what to do. It's to give you the clarity, confidence, and strategy to move forward knowing you've made informed decisions.
Why clients choose to work with me
- Over 20 years of senior HR experience
- Independent, confidential advice focused solely on your interests
- Specialist support with redundancy, settlement agreements, disciplinary, performance, and workplace disputes
- Strategic guidance before involving solicitors, helping you prepare and negotiate from a stronger position
- Calm, practical support during one of the most stressful periods of your career
My approach
To help you move from uncertainty to clarity, and from feeling overwhelmed to feeling back in control.
My aim is simple
I believe everyone deserves to be treated fairly at work. That doesn't always happen. When it doesn't, understanding your rights is only part of the picture. Knowing how to communicate, when to negotiate, what to say, and what not to say can make an enormous difference to the outcome.
What you can expect from me
No jargon. No judgement. No pressure. Just experienced, independent guidance when you need it most.
Straightforward advice
I'll tell you what I think, even when it may not be what you hoped to hear. You'll understand your options and what each could mean for you.
Completely independent
I don't work for your employer. My only focus is helping you understand your position and make the best decision for you.
Calm, confidential support
Workplace problems can feel incredibly personal. You'll have a private space to talk openly, make sense of what's happening, and decide what to do next.
Practical next steps
You won't leave with more HR jargon or theory. You'll know what to do, what to say, what not to say, and what your next move should be.
